Meet Blake
Blake Patton is a 17+ year law enforcement veteran born and raised in Houston and has been a resident of Galveston County for the past 20 years.
After graduating from the Police Academy at Alvin Community College, Blake went on to serve in the Galveston Police Department where he was a member of the SWAT Team and K9 Unit. During his tenure with Galveston, Blake served in various roles from SWAT Team Leader and Field Training Officer to serving in undercover operations and narcotics investigations. In 2021, Blake transferred over to the Galveston County Constable Pct. 2 Office where he’s been helping perform the constitutional functions of civil process of service for the Justice of the Peace Court and has engaged in nearly a dozen deployments down to the Texas Southern Border under Governor Abbott’s Operation Lone Star. Blake holds a Master Peace Officer’s License and has received the FBI LEEDA Trilogy Award having successfully graduated from the FBI Supervisor Leadership Institute, Command Leadership Institute, and Executive Leadership Institute programs.
Blake and his wife, Kathryn, an educator and realtor in Galveston County, have been married for the past 16 years and live in League City with two children ages 11 and 12. Blake is heavily involved in coaching youth sports through League City Parks & Rec, League City Little League, and serves as an assistant coach with multiple select baseball and softball teams in Galveston County. He is an Eagle Scout and avid outdoorsman where he and his family spend a lot of time hunting and fishing.
